Hardware
Tablerooms runs in a browser, so you can bring the tablet you already own. When the restaurant needs something that lasts a service (grease, steam, 18 hours plugged in), we sell the commercial kit, configured, and it is yours.
No lock-in. Same login on a Sunmi, an iPad, or the laptop in the office.
Floor · Pass · Pocket
Counter, waiter tablet and kitchen display. One system, three stations.
The POS and the KDS are a tab. We do not sell a locked terminal. If you leave Tablerooms, the screens still work for whatever you run next.
Kitchen steam kills a Galaxy in two seasons. Purpose-built Android (Sunmi, iMin) is IP-rated, VESA-mountable and built to live on power, not on a battery cycle.
We source locally where we can, pin Tablerooms to the home screen, and ship. You buy the kit. We never rent it back to you.

Kits
Priced as a starting point. We swap a screen, add a handheld, source the same spec closer to you. The quote is the real number.
Indicative prices in your currency · quoted and billed to match the region we ship from.
Up to ~20 covers
One counter that takes orders, prints and opens the drawer. Coffee bar, wine window, 20 covers.

~40–80 covers
Counter, two waiter tablets, a kitchen screen. The kit a 40–80 cover restaurant actually runs on.
From$2,190

80+ covers · two stations
Two kitchen screens, a handheld for the terrace, three tablets on the floor. The Saturday book.
From$3,990

Bundle prices assume the house-pick models. Substitutions (iPad host stand, 22" pass) reprice on the quote. Shipping, mounting and on-site setup priced separately.
The carta
House picks are what we ship unless you ask otherwise. iPad stays on the list for a host stand that has to look like the dining room, not for the pass.
01 · Host
15.6" all-in-one on the pass-through or the bar. Ethernet, cash drawer, guest-facing screen.

Android 13, 15.6" FHD, Ethernet and a cash-drawer port. The counter we put in most rooms: open platform, no Sunmi lock, easy to source in SEA.

Aluminium 15.6" with optional customer display. Same job as the Swan 2, more presence on a marble bar.
02 · Floor
11" in the hand or on a stand. Takes the order tableside, fires it, never walks back to a till.

Commercial 11"/14" tablet, IP54, built to stay plugged in. The waiter tablet that does not swell a battery in August.

The honest budget floor tablet. Fine for a host stand or a quiet lunch service. We would not hang it in a kitchen.

The one guests notice. Use it on the host stand. Do not leave it on charge 18 hours in a kitchen. The battery will not forgive you.
03 · Pocket
10" with a printer in the body. Terrace, brunch queue, the manager walking the restaurant.

10.1" with an 80 mm printer in the chassis. Tableside in one hand, or docked as a mini counter.
04 · Pass
15.6" or 22", IP55, PoE. Grease and steam are the brief, not an accident.

15.6" FHD, IP55, Power over Ethernet. The kitchen display the industry actually specifies. One cable for power and data.

22" pass window for a line that runs three tickets deep. Same family as the D2s, more glass.
05 · Ticket
Network Epson so every tablet prints. Drawer kicks off the printer, not a USB dongle.

The network printer. Ethernet + USB, so every tablet on the Wi-Fi can print a receipt without pairing Bluetooth mid-service.

Steel, RJ12 kick from the printer. Under the counter, with a key.
Why commercial
| On a Saturday | Consumer tablet | Commercial kit |
|---|---|---|
| Plugged in 18 hours | Battery swells in 18–30 months | Designed to live on mains power |
| Steam, grease, splash | No IP rating, even in a case | IP54–IP55 on the glass |
| Mounting | A stand from Amazon | VESA, pole, PoE · one cable |
| Printer & drawer | Bluetooth pairing, then unpairing | Ethernet + RJ12, as a till should |
| Useful life | Two seasons, then a raffle | Five years is the brief |
| Software lock | None | None. Still a browser. |
Bring your own
Main does not require our kit. If the iPads are healthy and the printer is on the network, we pin Tablerooms and go. We sell hardware for the restaurants that do not have that yet, or whose kitchen has already killed two Galaxies.
Not sure which side you are on?
Send a photo of the counter and the pass. We will tell you what to keep, what to replace, and quote only the gap.

No. Tablerooms is a browser. Buy a kit from us, from a local dealer, or use what is already on the floor. The subscription does not change.
